After more than four decades, UGG classic short boots, classic mini boots and the Ascot slipper in different colours retain their popularity. The New 2019 Collection by Van Arendonk has been launched.

Tilburg, Netherlands - August 1, 2019 / / —

Van Arendonk is pleased to announce the launch of its new 2019 UGG collection of women's shoes. The new collection features the Classic short boots, classic mini boots and the Ascot slipper available in other modern designs and in various colours. The UGG brand was the brainchild of Brian Smith after his arrival in California in 1978. From the beginning, the soft feel of sheepskin was a magnet for those seeking comfort and casual.

By the 1980s, the brand had become the symbol of the relaxed culture of Southern California. It was increasingly popular through surf shops and other stores along the California coast, from San Diego to Santa Cruz. The boots were no longer worn on the beach alone, but they began to appear everywhere; in villages, in cities and at every level of society. Girls wore the boots of their surfer friends just like they wore their letterman jackets. During the winter months, UGG boots were sold in ski shops and could be seen in ski areas from Mammoth to Aspen.

The 2019 collection includes everything from barely-there sandals to platforms and sneakers. There are raised shoes with ankle straps for a more classy look. This shoe collection for Summer joins a variety of other designs which have appeared in the iconic brand collections in the past. There are ankle boots and warm slippers and moccasins.

A spokesperson for the store explained, "Pick the colors you prefer, whether it is black, silver, white, chestnut or brown. There are even pink slippers and red sneakers for casual wear. We make shipping easy. Our selections feature free lettering, and some come with a removable footbed, to extend the wear and add to the comfort. Ordering online is convenient and secure."
