A 1988 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Zesiewicz went on to perform her residency in neurology at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn from 1989 until 1992.
Since 1998, he has been serving as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), Dr. Zesiewicz is also an active member of the Movement Disorders Society, the American Medical Association, and the Parkinson's Study Group.
His research interests include Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, Spinocerebellar ataxia, and Friedreich's Ataxia.
