If more family time is the goal during the holiday season then spending an unnecessary amount of time on cleaning chores would be setting off in the wrong direction. If there is one chore that seems to be universally disliked and takes the most time, that would be mopping the floor. A study shows that there is, however, another way to mop using a flat microfiber mop which more than cuts your mopping time in half, as well as does away with the heavy bucket.
According to a study done by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), there are 3 main factors that make flat microfiber mops quicker at mopping compared to traditional mopping methods such as the cotton loop mop,
– No bucket is needed
– No need to rinse the pad while mopping
– Pads are machine washable and thrown in the washer at the end
“Microfiber mops are real time savers”, say’s Brian, the creator of the Dredge microfiber mop. “It’s so easy that anyone can learn how to enjoy mopping. When you mop using a Dredge mop, there is no bucket of water needed, all you simply need to do is wet a pad, wring it out, drop, and mop. You can have a few pads on hand which eliminates cross-contamination and saves you having to rinse pads during use. Then when you have finished mopping, just toss the pads in the washer.”
Here is what Julie said in her review of her Dredge microfiber mop on Amazon, “It covers such a large area it cuts your cleaning time in half and then you simply toss the mop pad in the washer to be cleaned and it is ready to go again. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I highly recommend this product.”
“I have all wood and tile floors and this has cut my cleaning time in half!!! It would literally take me all day to sweep/mop/ then back over with a vacuum. And I just finished in the time it took my youngest to nap!!”, said Ashley in her review.
