St Heliers, New Zealand - December 22, 2023 /NewsNetwork/ —

Dr Dave Richards, lead dentist at Natural Smiles, now provides both in-office and home kit whitening solutions to help patients enhance the appearance of their teeth. With the announcement, he is encouraging patients from Auckland and surrounding areas looking to explore teeth whitening options to schedule an appointment.

Dr Richards uses Zoom! Whitespeed, a dental bleaching system that combines hydrogen peroxide gel and a special blue LED light to deliver immediate and significantly brighter smiles for patients in 45 minutes. He explains that the system can whiten patients’ teeth by several shades (up to 8 shades whiter), resolve uneven tooth colour issues, and remove stubborn dark spots in one visit.

Unlike generic, over-the-counter whitening products, Dr Richard’s in-office treatments are carefully calibrated to prevent tooth sensitivity and gum damage while still being effective in removing tooth stains and discolourations.

For those who prefer the convenience and flexibility that at-home whitening kits offer, the dentist can provide them with a treatment kit containing plastic trays that fit tightly on the teeth, complete with a professional whitening agent.

While teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic dental procedure for improving one’s smile, it may not be a suitable option for everyone, especially those with gum diseases, who have a history of tooth sensitivity or worn enamel.

To these clients, Dr Richards offers other dental treatment options, like veneers, a thin layer of porcelain or composite resins worn over the teeth to hide blemishes and correct slight misalignments. Learn more about this treatment at https://www.drdaverichards.nz/veneers

Dr Richard’s teeth-whitening procedure can be used alongside Invisalign, another cosmetic procedure that offers discreet solutions to bite issues, allowing patients to achieve a straighter smile without using metal braces. More details are available at https://www.drdaverichards.nz/invisalign

A satisfied patient remarked: "Dave and his team are fantastic and I am really happy with Dave’s work on my teeth. I’ve waited 33 years to be able to smile properly again, and now I can...thanks to the Natural Smile team! Highly recommended, modern, friendly, professional and very helpful."
