Schultz Family Dental is becoming The Schultz Center for Comprehensive Dentistry as the practice expands its vision for comprehensive, personalized oral healthcare. The transition includes a move to a larger space designed to support expanded services and modern technology.

Sharpsburg, Georgia, United States, October 2, 2026 -- A study by Chauca-Bajana et al., published in PubMed Central, found that anywhere between 19% and 51.2% of people experience mild to high anxiety levels regarding dental visits. Not only are these appointments associated with pain and discomfort, but also with loud and scary equipment.

Schultz Family Dental recognizes the fear and anxiety patients may have, which is why they've announced their transition to The Schultz Center for Comprehensive Dentistry. While the staff was already dedicated to treating their patients with compassion and care, this change reflects the practice's expanded vision for patient care. The main focus is on building relationships and providing personalized service.

The Schultz Center for Comprehensive Dentistry is led by Dr. Anna Schultz, who first opened Schultz Family Dental in 2017. She developed her career in private practice and also completed advanced dental education. For almost a decade, this dental practice has provided local residents with family, cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dental services.

This rebrand of the practice's name is intended to demonstrate the staff's dedication to a more holistic approach to dentistry. As the name suggests, it brings preventive care, restorative treatment, cosmetic services, and long-term oral health planning together under one roof. This aligns with the practice's focus on addressing patients' dental needs as a whole (such as addressing other bodily health issues, life changes, and stress) instead of treating each concern in isolation. Along with the name change, a new location is opening in the fall. Patients can find the practice at 23 Francis Way, Sharpsburg, Georgia 30277. The move to a larger space is intended to accommodate patients and staff better while also giving more space and capacity for high-end technology and other resources.

Patients can still access the same services as they did before at the old practice. This includes preventive exams and cleanings, periodontal care, oral cancer screenings, digital radiography, children's dentistry, dental emergencies, restorative procedures, implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and cosmetic treatments (e.g., whitening and porcelain veneers).

For the time being, The Schultz Center for Comprehensive Dentistry will continue serving patients at 931 Lower Fayetteville Rd, Suite G, Newnan, Georgia 30263. Its hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, as well as one Friday a month (contact the office for details).

The Schultz Center for Comprehensive Dentistry accepts all major PPO dental insurance plans, credit cards, and CareCredit as forms of payment. The practice also offers payment plans for patients who need larger treatments but can't afford to pay off the balance in one payment.
