Reading, United Kingdom - December 14, 2020 /PressCable/ —

Reading Cosmetic Laser, the first painless laser hair removal clinic in Reading, Berkshire, has recently been launched. The clinic is the first in Reading to use the latest laser technology known as Motus AY, that makes hair removal simple and painless for any skin-type.

More details can be found at: https://www.readingcosmeticlaser.co.uk

Whilst there are several laser hair removal clinics in the area, the launch of Reading Cosmetic Laser is the first time that the Motus AY painless laser technology has been employed in the area.

Various lasers have been developed for the removal of unwanted hair, and the use of laser hair removal has become increasingly popular due to its effectiveness as a more permanent hair removal solution. However, in many cases these lasers can cause damage to the skin, and many of these procedures can be painful.

Skin damage for those with darker skin-types is particularly more noticeable, due to the interaction of the laser with melanin in the skin. The Motus AY employs an Alexandrite laser, which has a longer pulse wavelength that causes less damage to the skin.

In addition, the system uses a hand-piece technology known as Moveo, which focuses on how the laser itself is applied. Many laser removal systems lead to discomfort and pain owing to a small distance between the tip of the laser and the skin itself. The laser tip in the Moveo hand-piece actually makes slight contact with the skin, eliminating the pain caused by the laser pulses.

The system is also suitable for applications such as skin rejuvenation, thread vein reduction and skin pigmentation reduction. The Motus AY system is manufactured in Italy, and fully meets European safety standards.

Reading Cosmetic Laser is located in the Reflex Spinal Health Centre in Caversham, and its focus is pain-free laser hair removal.
