Shield Republic Charities launches new ‘Hold the Line’ campaign for Officer Brent Scrimshire of Hot Springs
Raleigh, Mar 12, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - An award-winning police officer from Hot Springs, Arkansas who was killed in the line of duty this week will be honored with an apparel fundraiser for his family.
American lifestyle brand Shield Republic launched a new "Hold the Line" fundraiser to benefit the family of Officer Brent Scrimshire of the Hot Springs Police Department, who was gunned down during a traffic stop March 10.
Through the special fundraiser for Officer Scrimshire, Shield Republic will sell commemorative tees, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, ladies' tank tops, and decals honoring the fallen officer, with all net proceeds from the sale donated to his bereaved family.
Officer Scrimshire was shot and killed after a round of gunfire with a suspect at a traffic stop on Kenwood Street in Hot Springs. During his six years of service with the Hot Springs Police Department, he was recognized as Regional Officer of the Year in 2016 by Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge and was honored as his department's Officer of the Quarter last fall.
