Oct 12, 2026
Jordan Cooking has released a revised edition of French Flambé Cooking At Home, offering home cooks flame-cooking technique, flavor, and presentation guidance for holiday entertaining and gift-giving.
Manteca, California, October 12, 2026 -- Jordan Cooking has released a revised edition of French Flambé Cooking At Home, developed for holiday entertaining and gift-giving this season. The cookbook is co-authored by David and Kathy Jordan, a husband-and-wife team, and is available in paperback, hardcover, and an Author's Premium Edition.
David Jordan began his career as a flambé chef before moving into food distribution and management consulting, while Kathy Jordan is a registered dietitian and former healthcare executive. The French Flambé Cooking At Home – Revised Edition pairs full-color photography with flame-cooking technique, flavor, and presentation guidance, including recipes for Steak au Poivre and Crêpes Suzette.
The recipes range from savory main courses to sweet desserts, applying French technique to familiar ingredients. The cookbook brings the restaurant experience of tableside flambé into meals that home cooks can prepare and share with family and friends during the holiday season.
Jordan Cooking also features recipes for Steak Diane and Flambé Spinach Salad on JordanCooking.com.
The Author's Premium Edition is signed by both coauthors and includes premium paper stock, full-color photography, and a dust jacket, distinguishing it from the standard paperback and hardcover formats. Readers may request a signed copy with a custom message, and pricing ranges from $29.95 to $49.95 depending on edition.
"Our goal with this revised edition is to help home cooks slow down, savor the process, and bring the warmth and drama of French flambé to their own tables," said Kathy Jordan, Co-Author & Cookbook Creator. "We wanted readers to feel confident lighting that flame, not intimidated by it."
