The Innovate Series comprises high-end coffee-table books that tell the innovation stories of cities around the world. Available as both e-books and in hard copy, the pages of the Innovate Series also feature embedded AR videos that bring contributors’ stories to life. The publications are divided into three types of contributors: experts, thought leaders, and academics; the innovations themselves, entrepreneurs, and startups; and the supporters, founders, and enablers of innovation for cities’ ecosystems.

Innovate Tampa Bay Vol. 1 was a huge success, with 180 innovators and business icons sharing their vision and success stories.
Innovate Tampa Bay, Vol. 2 is the most recent publication of the 14 Innovate Series books currently in production. The book’s aim is to bring innovators and innovation enablers of Tampa Bay the attention they deserve, while also making it easy for them to grow the networks that can strengthen their enterprises. There’s also particular excitement about this launch because it is the second volume of Innovate Tampa Bay, which shows just how quickly the city is growing—good news for entrepreneurs, established businesses, and residents alike.
The Innovate Series’ founder and CEO, Sven Boermeester, is a global publishing entrepreneur with a career that spans over 20 years with stops in more than 100 countries. Boermeester now lives in Tampa Bay, Florida, and is working to disrupt the publishing business by mapping out the innovation ecosystems of every major city in the U.S. and around the world.
“A great book on an ecosystem or industry needs to be authentic and to encompass all the major players and up-and-comers by sharing their stories,” Boermeester says.
