Franklin, TN, United States - November 1, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —

Gilbert McWherter Scott Bobbitt PLC has been recognized for inclusion in the 2019 list of “Best Law Firms,” presented by Best Lawyers, for its work in Employment Law – Individuals, Insurance Law, Commercial Litigation, and Litigation – Labor & Employment. The Firm earned Tier 1 Rankings in the Metropolitan area of Memphis for Insurance Law and Employment Law – Individuals, and Tier 2 rankings in Commercial litigation and Litigation –¬ Labor & Employment.

“We are very pleased to be included in the 2019 list of ‘Best Law Firms’,” said managing partner Clint Scott. “Our clients have learned that they can come to us with highly-complex legal needs, and that we will fulfill those needs with efficiency and accuracy. It is an honor to be recognized for that work.”

Tiered rankings for “Best Law Firms”

The annual “Best Law Firms” list is comprised of firms where at least one attorney has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers. Eligibility packets are sent to each firm, and the data collected – along with data from Best Lawyers ballots – is analyzed and combined into a final score for the firm: “Because firms were often separated by small or insignificant differences in overall score, [the evaluators] use a tiering system rather than ranking law firms sequentially.”
Depending on the number of firms, where the firms are located, and the practice areas involved, there are Metro Tiers and National Tiers. Both sets offer rankings of 1-3. The Gilbert Firm was recognized for their work in the Memphis Metro Area.
