The upcoming course by Etrog Enterprises and NSI Nails Guyana has been designed for nail technicians who want to offer their clients premium products and services.
NSI educator Lexann McPhoy created the course and explains that in order to provide premium services, such as nail art, nail technicians need to have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the products used and the techniques needed.
The website states that nail art is as important to a look or outfit as accessories and shoes are, and clients want the latest nail based trends. This advanced course not only teaches nail artists and technicians how to use tools and materials but also how to create on-trend looks.
Participants will use NSI nail products which was carefully selected because they are nail-friendly and good for the environment.
Those taking part in the training course can expect to learn about acrylic systems, nail extensions using different acrylic powders, acrylic refills and removals, and gel polish application in natural nails and nail extensions. A live demo will accompany every type of application.
Further to these techniques, nail technicians will also learn about 2D and 3D nail art, different glitter applications and various types of French nails.
