Jan 13, 2023

PROOF Alcohol Ice Cream, launched in 2018 expands to new states and chains. Expansion includes South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, California, Illinois, Wisconsin, and eCommerce. Product is high-quality, adults-only with alcohol as primary ingredient.

South Carolina, United States - January 13, 2023 /MarketersMEDIA/ —

PROOF Alcohol Ice Cream is thrilled to announce its continued expansion into new states and chains thanks to collaborations with leading retail, sales, and distribution partners. Since launching the new market category in 2018, PROOF has grown its footprint to include South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, California, and eCommerce. Effective immediately, PROOF will now also be sold in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Collaboration is the name of the game when it comes to navigating the regulatory process and guidelines for opening new states, says Jenn Randall-Collins, PROOF CEO and Co-Founder. Having the right sales and distribution partners on our side makes a huge difference, along with establishing stellar relationships with grocery and spirits chains. PROOF is both a new category and an alcohol product. Getting a foot in the door doesn't happen overnight.

Last year PROOF expanded its collaboration with Walmart in Florida, rolling its iconic red freezers filled with top-shelf alcohol ice cream flavors to another 179 stores, bringing the total footprint to 231. The joint venture started with a successful 52-store pilot with Walmart Region Nine.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of alcohol ice cream companies emerging around the world. One reason for the rise is the increasing demand for unique and specialty ice cream flavors. Consumers are looking for more than just traditional chocolate and vanilla options and are willing to try new and exciting flavors. PROOF Alcohol Ice Cream is seizing this opportunity to offer an indulgent experience to consumers.

"Expanding our partnership with Walmart has a dream come true,"Randall-Collins says. "We've always admired how the retail giant helps new brands launch and then teaches them to navigate their tools, processes, and reporting requirements. Our pilot was extremely successful, and we look forward to continued growth as more Floridians and Sunshine State visitors discover our ultimate adult indulgence."

As a category leader and industry disruptor, PROOF is committed to making high-quality, adults-only alcohol ice cream using proprietary production techniques and recipes featuring alcohol as a primary ingredient. And with the addition of new states and stores, PROOF can now reach more customers than ever before.

PROOF Alcohol Ice Cream believes it's never too early or late to try something new. And with their uplifting flavors and creative spirit, shoppers everywhere can explore the possibilities. So grab a spoon — adventure awaits!
