ECS Tuning is excited for a new partnership with Team Sahlen to provide support to for the team's racing efforts.

ECS Tuning is excited to announce a brand partnership with Team Sahlen. The partnership evolved over the last several years, with Team Sahlen utilizing the strong ECS Tuning catalog to supply the team’s Porsche Caymans with excellent performance parts. Additionally, Team Sahlen has had the good fortune of having ECS R&D Engineer Shane Vallen accompany them to the events to assist on race car development and race weekend preparation.

The ECS Tuning partnership for Team Sahlen took on a whole new dimension with the team’s recent building of a brand new Porsche Boxster for the Tire Rack – ChampCar Endurance Series. Team Sahlen utilized the extensive performance parts available through ECS Tuning’s online catalog to bring their Boxster to life. This includes such items as the Bilstein Shocks, dba rotors, and the vast array of OE Porsche parts. Team Sahlen’s debut event for the Boxster was the Sahlen’s Champyard DOG at the Glen held over Memorial Day Weekend. At this Tire Rack – ChampCar Endurance Series event, there were over 100 race cars entered. During the maiden voyage, the ECS Tuning equipped Porsche Boxster was able to finish both the Saturday and the Sunday 7 hour enduros. Not only did the Boxster finish both races, but secured a fine 4th and 3rd place during the 2 days of racing vs the large centurion sized field.
