Dave Vitalli Announces Candidacy for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District

Recently, Democrat Congressman Jim Cooper announced his retirement, opening up Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District seat for the first time in twenty years. With the most ineffectual President in history in the White House, inflation and gas prices soaring, and global unrest, the time is now for Republicans to flip this seat and win back the majority in the House of Representatives. It all depends on who is chosen to replace Cooper, and Dave Vitalli is the right man for the job. The fifty-two-year-old from Brentwood, Tennessee announced that he would be running for the Republican nomination in the August 2022 primaries for the U.S. House.
The desire to serve is nothing new to Dave Vitalli. He started the non-profit AngelWatch Foundation, which partners with the Department of Homeland Security to increase the safety and security of children. AngelWatch provides teachers and caregivers with practical trainings, such as CPR training, what to do in the case of a parent-child abduction, how to administer emergency oxygen, and more.
While Vitalli has seen considerable success in the business and non-profit world, he now wants to focus on how he can make the world a better place on a larger scale – by running for Congress. In an interview Vitalli said, “I have been asked to join politics by people close to me on numerous occasions. They have been pushing me for the past ten years at least but I wanted to stay away given its dirty nature. But something changed during the pandemic, and I felt I can – and must – step up to make a difference by bringing the same common-sense approach to politics that has brought me success in life and business.”
Dave Vitalli’s main priority once elected to Congress is to introduce term limits for Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court. After defeating career politicians, Dave’s plan is to put an end to lobbying, and tackle welfare reform, prison reform, and police reform with common-sense, conservative solutions.
Dave will bring his business and non-profit experience, and fiscally responsible leadership to Congress.
