New Startup Ambition Products LLC announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards based crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to help fund the initial production run of their revolutionary patent pending universal cooking pot lid. Ambition Products LLC is looking to raise $20,000 on Kickstarter to help pay for the expensive tooling and materials required to produce the first batch of Magic Whistling Lids. These lids will revolutionize the boiling water experience making it safer, easier, more convenient, and less time consuming.
Jason Sundberg, founder and CEO of Ambition Products LLC, has invented this patent pending universal cooking pot lid. The Magic Whistling Lid whistles like a tea kettle when water boils. This lid solves three main cooking issues. The first is the time wasted waiting for the water to boil. The second is getting distracted and forgetting about your pot of boiling water, which could result is damaged cookware and even a fire. The third is the difficulty timing a meal with multiple pots of water. The Magic Whistling Lid solves all three of these everyday cooking hassles.
The Magic Whistling Lid is a beautiful stainless steel universal pot lid fitting pots and pans up to 9.75” in diameter and, as advertised, works like magic to make the lid whistle loudly like a tea kettle when the water reaches a rolling boil. The product design also includes a push in lever to close the whistle hole and turn off the whistling sound when needed. Sundberg stated that “the real magic was getting the product to whistle for almost any type of pot or pan, which have varying edge shapes and diameters. In reality, the magic was a result of over a year of painstaking designing, prototyping, and testing. Though the journey has a tedious and difficult one, I had a passion to solve this problem after almost burning down my house while making my kids macaroni and cheese one night. I got distracted playing with the kids and the next thing I knew the smoke detector was beeping and there was smoke coming from the kitchen as the boiling water had evaporated from the pot. I knew that there had to be a solution to this problem to give back time and peace of mind to busy folks of all ages who cook. That solution is now here. The Magic Whistling Lid Kickstarter campaign will run through October 30th. The campaign rewards for backers include discounted Magic Whistling Lids, which will be shipped out to backers before the end of the year holidays. The number of rewards is limited and based upon initial marketing feedback, it is expected that there will be high demand for the product and that the rewards for backers will sell out quickly. Sundberg indicated that he did not yet know when the second production run would be scheduled if the first production run is fully backed and executed.
