Cafenated describe themselves as a farm-to-cup coffee roasting company that sources their green beans from women’s coffee farm cooperatives in Central America, South America and Africa. Their coffee is high quality and roasted by hand in small batches.

They have recently opened their flagship coffee house in Berkeley, CA and explain that it will serve as a hub for the community as well as being a place to showcase their delicious, hand roasted coffee drinks prepared using the best espresso machines in the business.

Cafenated are also planning to introduce Cafenated Tea for the first time at their new coffee shop. They will be offering a variety of blends, focusing on a varied flavour pallet. They will also stock varied caffeine levels for those who enjoy their hot beverages without the caffeine.

The coffee house will have a seasonal menu featuring pastries, unique dishes and Cafenated merchandise products that represent their values and company mission of helping female coffee farmers.

The company explains that they cut out the middleman and supply their coffee directly from the cooperative to the customer. This helps to ensure that underrepresented, underpaid and under appreciated women within the global coffee supply chain receive a fair deal. They will receive more profits from their farming and can earn a living.

Cafenated aim to make it easy for their customers to purchase coffee that they can feel good about. They invite their customers to join their community and help to invest in the female farmers alongside them.
