Yoga is widely known to alleviate tightness in muscles for athletes that practice sports such as basketball, soccer, surfing, running, cycling, tennis, football, and many other sports. Minimizing injury is possible with yoga sessions incorporated after intense sports training sessions. The Soul Obsession Yoga Mat helps athletes build a stronger center, and align the spine when they use the mat at a yoga class. Yoga poses open up tight muscles in the lower back and oblique areas of the body and reduces body aches that many athletes and triathletes face.
The Soul Obsession Yoga Mat has a thickness of 4 mm, and measures 68 inches x 24 inches. It weighs just under 7 pounds, and can be used by athletes for all yoga practices such as Iyengar, Bikram, or Hot Yoga just to name a few. There are over 20 digital prints to choose from, which are all printed using water based inks. The designs are lively and not only look fantasitic, but they are super absorbent to handle even the most rigorous of workouts.
What makes the Soul Obsession Yoga Mat so superior in quality is that it’s constructed from 100% recyclable and biodegradable materials. A Soul Obsession Printed Yoga Mat is manufactured by bleeding glue from trees, which actually keeps the trees alive. The top of the mat has a microfiber yoga towel and is super absorbent. Additionally, there are no harmful chemicals used in Soul Obsession Yoga Mats. They are free of latex, PVC, silicone, and phthalates. No harmful chemicals used means no toxic odors are emitted into the air, which athletes, men, and women will appreciate.
Soul Obsession also offers sporty and durable Yoga Exercise Mat Bags that come in black with blue highlights, or pink with yellow highlights. They too are eco-friendly and are made from 100% recyclable and biodegradable materials. The Soul Obsession Yoga Mat Bags fit yoga mats between 3-6 mm, and are 24 inches wide. The bags feature a mesh water bottle holder, and eyelets to help keep an athlete’s yoga mat fresh and cool. The padded shoulder strap makes carrying it easy and is fashionable, modern, and stylish. There’s even a zippered pocket where personal items can be inserted. Many athletes choose to practice yoga after a strenuous workout, as it provides a way to stretch their muscles and to recuperate from a hard workout or after playing sports. Cyclers, triathletes, and runners that are constantly putting strain on their joints and muscles can benefit greatly from a Soul Obsession Yoga Mat by stretching their muscles and joints as wells as improving their balance and posture. Studies show that injuries are directly linked to lack of flexibility, poor core strength, and misalignment of the body. Practicing yoga on Soul Obsession’s Yoga Mat will help to alleviate muscle tightness from high endurance sports, and aids in recovering after an exerting training session.
